Jase Bouldin, Guide

Growing up in the Rock Island, Jase was surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery in Tennessee if not the world. Being one with the water was a natural progression, and as he matured as a person, he evolved into an avid outdoorsman, all but mastering water sports like white-water kayaking and musky fishing.

When Jackson Kayaks chose Rock Island as the location for their corporation, Jase was a natural selection to add to their staff, as he was familiar with the intricacies of the flowing waters that drew kayakers to the area, as well as the craft best suited to handle them. He now works for the company as a designer, consultant, and tester of the latest Jackson Kayak craft, some of the finest ever built and forged by the very waters of Rock Island.

Jase knows the areas waters as intimately as a dear friend, and loves nothing more than sharing that with others. Whether it be a scenic nature paddle down the upper Calfkiller river, a lesson in handling white-water paddling below the magnificent and towering Twin Falls, or using stealth and guile to pursue monster muskellunge from a silently skiffing kayak, no one can match Jase for knowledge, skill, and general congeniality.
