By day, we are professionals and students, scholars and laymen, men and women of many different colors and creeds, backgrounds and passions…

…but once we shed the encumbering responsibilities of everyday life, we reveal our true skins, for we are explorers and cartographers,  poets and painters, hikers and kayakers,  anglers and hunters. But most of all, we are just mere mortals who seek to interact, if only for a moment, with the living, breathing canvas that has enveloped us since time immemoriam.

Here at Stone’s Throw Adventures, our mission is to continually seek out new pockets of untamed wilderness just out our backdoors and office buildings and respectfully share their secrets amongst our fellow adventurers. We endeavor to walk the line of discretion in divulging nature’s most intimate secrets, by giving guidance as a compass heading from which to start one’s own adventure, not a GPS coordinate to defile a hallowed trove.

Each walk of life will bring a different perspective, and reflect a different experience, from each enterprise into the outdoors. Our goal is to provide a cave wall upon which to chronicle these tales for others to find along their own journey and be compelled to leave their own mark, as well as a jumping off point for those seeking a helping hand to introduce them to the adventure of a lifetime, into the heart of all things wild…
